  • Does Xeomin travel throughout the body causing other issues or infections?
Xeomin is a purified protein that works locally at the injection site. It does not travel throughout the body or cause infections.
  • Can Xeomin erase all my wrinkles?
While we are called ERASE MedSpa, we cannot erase your wrinkles immediately, but we can soften and diminish them over time. There are two types of wrinkles: dynamic wrinkles, caused by muscle movement, and static wrinkles, caused by aging and sun exposure. Xeomin treats dynamic wrinkles by relaxing the muscle, improving their appearance. Treating static wrinkles may require additional treatments like PlasmaChanneling, RF Microneedling, HydraFacials, Cryofacials, and our Signature Erase Facials. We will also recommend professional products for home use to enhance and maintain your results.
  • If I stop getting Xeomin, it will make me look older?
No. Xeomin prevents wrinkles from worsening when treatments are maintained. If you stop treatments, the muscle-relaxing effects will gradually diminish, and wrinkles will return to their pre-treatment state. Stopping Xeomin won't make wrinkles worse; they will simply resume their natural progression as you continue to express your muscles and crease your skin. Xeomin does not stop or speed up the natural aging process, but CLICK HERE to learn how you can reverse and slow down aging.
  • Is Xeomin a filler?
No. Xeomin and fillers serve different purposes. Xeomin relaxes muscles that cause lines, whereas fillers add volume to areas with volume or fat pad loss. Fillers, often made from hyaluronic acid, are injected under the skin, not into muscles, to fill lines and restore volume. Xeomin is typically used for frown lines, forehead lines, and crow’s feet, while fillers are used for areas like the lips and cheeks. Both treatments complement each other but work in different ways. • Does Xeomin have immediate effects?
While Xeomin works quickly, its effects are not immediate. You'll start to notice changes in 2-4 days, with the full effect becoming apparent between 10 and 14 days.
  • Are Xeomin injections painful?
Known as the “lunchtime procedure,” Xeomin treatments are quick with minimal downtime. The injections use fine needles and a small amount of liquid, causing only a slight sting. Ice or topical anesthetic creams can be applied to minimize discomfort, making the procedure almost painless.
  • Is there any downtime?
There is no downtime, but there are a few rules to follow to make sure you have the best results with no unwanted side-effects. The main goal is to not do anything that will cause the tox to move around. It needs ample time to dissipate and get to work. Here are the main rules to follow after treatment: Do not lay flat for 4-6 hours post treatment and sleep on your back as much as possible for the next 14 days. Avoid alcohol for 12-24 hours to limit bruising. Stay Hydrated. Avoid high intensity activity & workouts for 24-48 hours. Do not touch or massage your face for 24 hours. No facial treatments for 14 days. Wash gently. Avoid High Temperatures and Sun Exposure for 24-48 hours... Sauna/steam rooms, hot tubs, etc. Avoid applying makeup for 24 hours and wear sunscreen.
